At BFC we use a Soy wax blend. Expertly crafted using only natural ingredients that are easily replenished, ensuring a sustainable, plant-based solution for candle making. Our ingredients are Vegan friendly & not tested on animals and derived from natural resources.
Soy Wax Benefits
Longer than average burn times, excellent scent throw and fabulous colour retention, naturally biodegradable. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, this means that soy wax burns cooler and will typically last longer than most paraffin candles.
Soy is a natural wax produced from the oil of soybeans. The harvest beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled and flattened into flakes before having their oil extracted and hydrogenated. The result is a natural wax which is completely renewable.
Always ensure 1st burn is at least 3hrs, after 1st burn you may have a slight uneven surface & slight frosting – don’t worry this is natural for Soy wax candles and will not affect performance.
